Supervisor Duran to Host Sun City 'Supervisor at your Corner'

Placer County District 1 Supervisor Jack Duran will take his "Supervisor at your Corner" summertime coffee shop meetings with constituents to Sun City, Roseville.

"The feedback on these coffees has been tremendous," Duran said. "I want to ensure that our citizens in Sun City get a chance to be a part of the dialogue to build a stronger future in Placer County."

The informal, coffee shop meetings with constituents have allowed District 1 residents to interact directly with Duran, provide feedback on matters before the Board of Supervisors and learn more about county services. The September Sun City Coffee will allow residents unable to attend workshops, Board and committee meetings a forum in which to ask questions and offer feedback.

The coffee will take place on September 22nd, from 9 am to 11 am at the Cedar Room in Sun City Roseville.

The sale will be held from Saturday 10 am to 5pm, and on Sunday 10am to 4pm. This community event provides a golden opportunity to purchase bargain books and help to provide funds for materials and programs for Roseville’s three public libraries.

Prices range from $1 for hardbound books to $.25 for children’s books. The first hour of the sale will be “children only” in the Kid’s Korner of the sale.
